Invest Ottawa typically hosts in excess of 50 international delegations throughout the course of the year. Invest Ottawa provides connection and introduction to key Ottawa business resources: local companies, industry associations, relevant government agencies and other facilitators

We support incoming delegations in a number of ways including:

• Presentations on Ottawa and the local business opportunities
• Trade and export information sessions on target markets – “Doing Business Series”
• Arranging icustomized meetings, company introductions and project tours
• Providing matchmaking services to encourage strategic partnerships, investment and trade

Each spring, Invest Ottawa arranges a Heads of Mission tour bringing together delegates from the embassies and consulates hosted here in Ottawa. Delegates visit local companies and research labs as means of better acquainting themselves with the expertise available on their door step. This year’s sessions included tours and presentations from some of Ottawa’s most innovative technology companies such as March Networks Corporation, Best Theratronics Ltd., Research in Motion, Iogen Corp. and TeleSat.
